It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The best number of camels is thirty; among them, the finest camel is ridden, its bucket is lent, the milking she-camel is given as a gift, and on the day of watering, when they are gathered in their enclosures, they are milked and (the milk is) given to the needy.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This is a moderate number of camels; if someone possesses more camels than this and fulfills their rights as prescribed, then that will be better for him. However, it has been observed that due to an abundance of wealth, people become heedless of Islamic obligations, duties, and limits. Their temperaments change, and blameworthy traits such as arrogance and miserliness develop within them.
