It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would braid the mane of a horse with his fingers and would say: Goodness, that is, reward and spoils, have been attached to the foreheads of horses until the Day of Resurrection.
