It is narrated from Sufyan bin Wahb Khawlani, he says: When we conquered Egypt without any treaty, Sayyiduna Zubair bin Al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and said: O Amr bin Al-Aas! Distribute it, but he said: I will not distribute it. Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah! You will certainly distribute it just as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed Khaybar. He said: By Allah! I will not distribute it until I write its details and send them to the Commander of the Faithful. Then he wrote a letter to Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and the Commander of the Faithful replied with this order: Keep it as it is, until the children in the wombs of pregnant women participate in jihad.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The opinion of Sayyiduna Zubair radi Allahu anhu was that Egypt was conquered by force, whereas the view of Sayyiduna Amr radi Allahu anhu was that it was conquered through a peace treaty. Ibn Athir said in al-Nihayah: 1/334: “The unborn children in the wombs of pregnant women will participate in jihad”—by this is meant that there will be a great number of Muslim offspring there.
