بَابُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْكَافِرِ إِذَا خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا مُسْلِمًا فهُوَ حُرِّChapter on the Slave of a Disbeliever Who Comes to Us as a Muslim Is Free
Hadith 5122

عَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَالِثٍ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الطَّائِفِ مَنْ خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا مِنَ الْعَبِيدِ فَهُوَ حُرٌّ فَخَرَجَ عَبِيدٌ مِنَ الْعَبِيدِ فِيهِمْ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ فَأَعْتَقَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
. (Third chain) On the day of Ta’if, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Whoever slaves come to us, they will be free. Then, along with Abu Bakrah, some slaves came to him (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), and he set them free.
