Hadith 5111

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَجِبَ رَبُّنَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يُقَادُونَ إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ فِي السَّلَاسِلِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that Abu al-Qasim, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: Our Lord is amazed at those people who are being dragged to Paradise in chains.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The meaning of this blessed hadith is that some people will be imprisoned while they are in a state of disbelief, then when they come to know the truth and reality of Islam, they will willingly accept Islam. It is as if the compulsion of imprisonment becomes the cause of their embracing Islam, but for them, the outcome of this compulsion will be Paradise.
