It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man named Karkarah was appointed over the travel belongings of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), or over his family and possessions. When he died, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said about him: "He is in the Fire." When the companions investigated, they found a cloak with him which he had taken dishonestly. In another narration, the word "sheet" is mentioned.
