بَابُ إِنَّ السَّلْبَ لِلْقَاتِلِ وَأَنَّهُ غَيْرَ مَخْمُوسٍChapter on the Spoils Belonging to the Killer and That It Is Not Subject to the Fifth
Hadith 5048

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ مَنْ قَتَلَ كَافِرًا فَلَهُ سُلْبُهُ قَالَ فَقَتَلَ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عِشْرِينَ
(Second chain) On the occasion of the Battle of Hunayn, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever kills a disbeliever, his spoils will belong to him. Sayyiduna Abu Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) killed twenty disbelievers.
