بَابُ تَقْسِيمِ أَرْبَعَةِ أَحْمَاسِ الْغَيْمَةِ وَمَا يُعْطَى الفارس والرجل، وَمَن يُرْضَحُ لَهُ مِنْهَا كَالْمَرْأَةُ وَالْمَمْلُوكِChapter on the Division of Four-Fifths of the Booty, What Is Given to the Horseman and the Foot Soldier, and Who Else May Receive a Share Such as Women and Slaves
Hadith 5037

عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَنَحْنُ أَرْبَعَةُ نَفَرٍ وَمَعَنَا فَرَسٌ فَأَعْطَى كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ مِنَّا سَهْمًا وَأَعْطَى الْفَرَسَ سَهْمَيْنِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umarah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: Four of us came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we had a horse with us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gave each of us one share and gave the horse two shares.
