It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever meets Allah in such a state that he did not associate anything with Him, gave zakat with happiness of heart and with the intention of reward, listened to the Imam and obeyed him, then for him is Paradise, or he will enter Paradise. There are five sins for which there is no expiation: associating partners with Allah, unjustly killing a soul, slandering a believer, fleeing on the day of battle, and a false oath through which one acquires unlawful wealth.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … According to the view of the majority of the righteous predecessors (salaf saliheen), every type of sin is forgiven in one's lifetime due to repentance (tawbah) and remorse, however, in matters concerning the rights of people (huquq al-‘ibad), it is necessary to either fulfill the right of the concerned person or obtain their forgiveness. After death, every sin except for shirk (associating partners with Allah) is forgivable, and it is also possible that, depending on the nature of the crime, a temporary punishment may be given, for example, punishment in the grave, punishment on the Day of Gathering (maidan al-hashr), or punishment in Hell (Jahannam).
