Hadith 4971

عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((إِنَّكُمْ سَتَلْقَوْنَ الْعَدُوَّ غَدًا وَإِنَّ شِعَارَكُمْ {هُمْ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ}))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: Surely, you will meet the enemies tomorrow, your slogan will be: {ھُمْ لَا یُنْصَرُوْنَ}.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: ... A "shi'ar" is a sign through which, in case of doubt, a mujahid (combatant) can recognize the members of his own army during battle.
