Hadith 4969

عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: صَفَفْنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ، فَبَدَرَتْ مِنَّا بَادِرَةٌ أَمَامَ الصَّفِّ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: ((مَعِيَ مَعِيَ))
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: On the day of Badr, we formed rows, some people went ahead of the row, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw them and said: Stay with me, stay with me (i.e., do not go ahead).
