It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: If I were to swear nine times that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was martyred, that would be more beloved to me than swearing once that he was not martyred. The reason for this is that Allah Almighty made him a Prophet and took him as a martyr. The narrator A‘mash says: When I told this to Ibrahim, he said: This was the belief of those people that the Jews had poisoned the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
