It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Uhud: "If I am martyred, where will I be?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "In Paradise." So he threw away the dates that were in his hand and began to fight, until he was martyred and separated from the food of this world.
