Hadith 4874

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Uhud: "If I am martyred, where will I be?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "In Paradise." So he threw away the dates that were in his hand and began to fight, until he was martyred and separated from the food of this world.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This was the certainty the noble Companions (radi Allahu anhum) had in the statements of the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam); due to this certainty, it was very easy for them to accept death.
