فَضْلُ إِعَانَةِ الْمُجَاهِدِ وَتَجْهِيزِهِ وَخَلْفِهِ فِي أهْلِهِ وَالنَّفَقَةِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلْThe Virtue of Assisting the Mujahid, Equipping Him, Looking After His Family, and Spending in the Path of Allah the Exalted
Hadith 4853

عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا أَوْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ كُتِبَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ لَا يُنْقَصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الْغَازِي شَيْءٌ
Narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever equips a warrior (ghazi) or takes his place among his family, he will receive a reward equal to that of the warrior, while the warrior’s reward will not be diminished in the least.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Not every person can go out for battle, nor is it necessary. Therefore, those who remain behind should prepare the equipment needed by the mujahideen and provide for the necessities of their families. In this way, all people will become participants in jihad.
