It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ruwaifi’ bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he participated in a battle with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He says: It used to happen that one of us would take a she-camel for half of the spoils received, and among these, someone would get an arrow shaft, someone a piece of bread, and someone a feather.
