Hadith 483

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Beware of the two things that bring curses." The Companions asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What are those things that bring curses?" He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A person who relieves himself on people's pathways or in their shade."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … It is understood that there are three places where relieving oneself should not be done: such shade which is used as a shade, a pathway, and a water source. This is also from the jurisprudence (fiqh) of these ahadith that after relieving oneself, the latrine should be thoroughly cleaned, so that the one who comes after is not caused any discomfort.
