Sayyiduna Abu Wahb Jashmi, may Allah be pleased with him, who had the honor of companionship, narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Name yourselves with the names of the noble Prophets, and the most beloved names to Allah Almighty are Abdullah and Abdur Rahman. The truest names are Harith and Hammam. The worst names are Harb and Murrah. Keep horses tied and touch their foreheads and their hindquarters or their loins. Put collars on them, but do not put collars made of hemp. And you should pay attention to a black or red horse with whiteness on its forehead and legs, or a white horse with a reddish tinge with whiteness on its forehead and legs, or a black horse with whiteness on its forehead and legs.
