عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ ضَحَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِكَبْشَيْنِ جَذَعَيْنِ خَصِيَّيْنِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed two rams; both were of the age of Jadh'a and castrated.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Although an animal being castrated is indeed a defect, in the context of sacrifice (qurbani), this defect is not considered valid.
