Brief Explanation
Benefits: … It is strictly prohibited for the one intending to offer a sacrifice (qurbani) to cut or shave hair from the body and to trim the nails during the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah. It has been observed that most people purchase very expensive animals for sacrifice, but they are unable to implement this command of the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) upon themselves.
