Hadith 4650

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ وَجَدَ سَعَةً فَلَمْ يُضَحِّ فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ مُصَلَّانَا
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever, despite having the means, does not offer the sacrifice, let him not come near our Eid ground.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This is a manner of rebuke and admonition; otherwise, the intention of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is not that the validity of the Eid prayer is dependent upon the offering of the sacrifice (qurbani).
