It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Qabeesah Dhu’ayb (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent two sacrificial camels with him and said: If any of these animals becomes exhausted and unable to walk, and you fear for it, then slaughter it, dye its shoe in its blood, and place it on its side. Neither you yourself are to eat from it, nor any member of your group.
