It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to send sacrificial animals from Madinah Munawwarah to Makkah Mukarramah, and I used to braid their collars with my own hands. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would do those acts before the sacrificial animals reached Makkah Mukarramah, which a person in the state of being halal (not in ihram) does.
