(Third chain) Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Sayyida Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) became menstruating after performing the Tawaf al-Ziyarah. When I informed the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about her menstruation, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is she the one who will detain us?" I said: "Yes, she became menstruating after performing the Tawaf al-Ifadah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then she may depart." In another narration, it is: "Then there is no harm in her departing."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … From these ahadith it is understood that if a woman has performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah, then due to menstruation (hayd), she may leave with her caravan without performing the Tawaf al-Wada‘. If, however, a woman has not yet performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah due to menstruation, then she will wait until her menstruation ends in order to perform the Tawaf al-Ifadah.
