Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I saw that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was riding his mount in Mina when a man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I thought that shaving the head comes before sacrifice, so I shaved my head before sacrificing. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Now perform the sacrifice, there is no harm in it. Meanwhile, another man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I thought that sacrificing comes before stoning, so I performed the sacrifice before stoning. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no harm in it, now perform the stoning. On that day, whoever asked about advancing or delaying any of these matters, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Now do it, there is no harm in it. The narrator, Abdur Razzaq, said: A man came and said: O Messenger of Allah! I thought that shaving the head comes before stoning, so I shaved my head before stoning. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Now perform the stoning, there is no harm in it.
