Abdur Rahman bin Yazid says: I was with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him), when he reached Jamrah ‘Aqabah, he said: Bring me some stones. So I brought him seven stones. Then he said to me: Hold the camel’s rein. After that, he went towards the Jamrah and threw seven pebbles from the middle of the valley, while he was mounted, and with each pebble he said “Allahu Akbar.” Then he made this supplication: O Allah, make this a Hajj Mabroor and forgive the sins. After that, he said: The one upon whom Surah Al-Baqarah was revealed stood at this place and performed the Rami here.
