It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) departed from Arafah, Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind him on the mount. The she-camel started running, while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had his hands raised at that time, but his hands were not raised above his head. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) continued to walk calmly until he reached Muzdalifah. Then, the next day, when he departed from Muzdalifah, Sayyiduna Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) was riding behind him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) continued to recite the Talbiyah until he stoned Jamrah al-Aqabah.
