It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, departed from Arafah, the people began to hasten, so the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Walk calmly and proceed straight; rushing the horses and mounts is not righteousness." Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, says: "After that, until I reached Muzdalifah, I did not see any mount lifting its front legs in a run."
