Anas bin Sirin says: I was with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) at Arafat. When it was time to depart, I also set out with him. When the Imam arrived, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) performed the Zuhr and Asr prayers with him. Then he stood with the Imam (for Wuquf), and I and my other companions were also with him. When the Imam departed from Arafat after sunset, we also set out with him. When we reached a narrow path between two mountains called Ma’zim, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) made his mount sit down. Seeing this, we also made our mounts sit down. We thought that he wanted to perform prayer there, but the slave who was holding the reins of his mount informed us that he did not intend to pray there. The reason he dismounted was that he remembered that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached this place, he had relieved himself there. Now Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also wanted to relieve himself at this place.
