Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Earlier, it has already been explained that the pilgrims (hujjaj) will depart from Mina after sunrise on the 9th of Dhul-Hijjah and, upon reaching Arafat, will perform the standing (wuquf) there until sunset. After the sun has fully set, they will proceed towards Muzdalifah, and here they will combine the Maghrib and Isha prayers, and perform the Fajr prayer at its earliest time. However, if a person is unable to reach Arafat by that time, then he should perform the standing (wuquf) for a portion of the night, and upon reaching Muzdalifah, perform the Fajr prayer.
