عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا نَحْسَبُ إِلَّا أَنَّنَا حُجَّاجًا، فَلَمَّا قَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ نُودِيَ فِينَا: مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ لَيْسَ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ فَلْيَحْلِلْ، وَمَنْ كَانَ مَعَهُ هَدْيٌ فَلْيُقِمْ عَلَى إِحْرَامِهِ، قَالَ: فَأَحَلَّ النَّاسُ بِعُمْرَةٍ إِلَّا مَنْ كَانَ سَاقَ الْهَدْيَ، قَالَ: وَبَقِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَعَهُ مِائَةُ بَدَنَةٍ، وَقَدِمَ عَلِيٌّ مِنَ الْيَمَنِ، … الْحَدِيثَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we thought that we were going only for Hajj. But when we reached Makkah Mukarramah, it was announced: Those among you who do not have sacrificial animals with them should come out of ihram after performing Umrah, and those who have sacrificial animals should remain in the state of ihram. So, except for those who had sacrificial animals with them, all the rest performed Umrah and came out of ihram. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had one hundred camels with him, and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came from Yemen, ... .
