It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) reached Makkah Mukarramah on the 4th of Dhul-Hijjah. The people were reciting the Talbiyah for Hajj, but he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered them to consider it as ‘Umrah, and those who had sacrificial animals with them should remain in their Ihram. Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: Thus, shirts were worn, perfumes were applied, and intercourse with wives took place.
