عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ قَرَنَ بَيْنَ حَجَّتِهِ وَعُمْرَتِهِ أَجْزَأَهُ لَهُمَا طَوَافٌ وَاحِدٌ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever performs Qiran Hajj, one Tawaf is sufficient for both Hajj and Umrah.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The wording of the narration in Jami’ al-Tirmidhi is as follows: ((Whoever enters into the state of ihram for both Hajj and ‘Umrah together, one tawaf and one sa‘y will suffice for both of them, until he becomes completely released from both.)) … That is, whoever ties the ihram for both Hajj and ‘Umrah together, one tawaf and one sa‘y will suffice for him, and he will be released from both together. Imam al-Albani has declared this hadith to be authentic.
