It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Umar! You are a strong man, so do not crowd at the Black Stone and cause hardship to the weak. If you find space, then perform Istilam; otherwise, face towards it and say: LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAH and ALLAHU AKBAR.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This is a golden principle of Islam that, in order to act upon a recommended (mustahabb) or superior (afdal) deed, no Muslim should be caused hardship. Kissing the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad) is such a tremendous act, but its greatness does not demand that it become the cause of distress for dozens of Muslims. Nowadays, people, in their eagerness to kiss it or to reach the Multazam, even forget the sanctity of non-mahram women; some push others aside, crush the feet of many, and, rubbing against the bodies of several women, reach there in pursuit of this virtue.
