Zubair bin Arabi says: A man asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) about the Black Stone. He said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) kiss the Black Stone and touch it. The man asked: What if there is a crowd? Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Leave this "if and but" in Yemen; I am telling you that I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) touch it and kiss it.
