Hadith 4341

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((الْحَجَرُ الْأَسْوَدُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَكَانَ أَشَدَّ بَيَاضًا مِنَ الثَّلْجِ، حَتَّى سَوَّدَتْهُ خَطَايَا أَهْلِ الشِّرْكِ))
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Black Stone is from Paradise; (when it was brought down from Paradise) it was whiter than snow, but now the sins of the polytheists have made it black.

Benefits: … Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr radi Allahu anhu narrates that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “If it were not for the impurities of the Age of Ignorance that touched it (the Black Stone), then no afflicted person would touch it except that he would be cured, and there is nothing on earth from Paradise except it.” (Sunan al-Bayhaqi: 5/75, Sahihah: 3355)
It is understood from this that things from Paradise are blessed, and by touching them, one attains healing. Also, observe the ill effect and lack of blessing caused by sins: even the stone that was sent down from Paradise could not remain unaffected. Who knows what treatment the ill effect of errors will give to the sinners themselves.
