It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali bin Umayyah, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, arrived in Makkah Mukarramah, he had performed idtiba‘ (exposing the right shoulder) with a Hadrami sheet.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The meaning of idtiba‘ is that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) wrapped the upper garment (chadar) in such a manner that his right shoulder was uncovered. Idtiba‘ is performed during all seven circuits of the arrival circumambulation (tawaf al-qudum).
