(Third chain) The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: A person in the state of ihram cannot wear a coat or a cloak, a shirt, a turban, trousers, or socks. If shoes are not available, he may use socks after cutting them below the ankles. He also cannot wear any cloth that has been scented with wars or saffron, unless it has been washed.
