Hadith 4236

عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ أَتَانِي فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُغْلِيَ بِالتَّلْبِيَةِ))
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to me and said to me that I should recite the Talbiyah aloud.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The implication of all these ahadith is that the talbiyah should be recited aloud, even though the majority (jumhur) have interpreted these commands as being for recommendation (istihbab).
