It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa’ib bin Khalad (may Allah be pleased with him) that Jibreel (peace be upon him) came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and said: You will become one who recites the Talbiyah abundantly and one who sheds the blood of many animals. The meaning of ‘Ajj’ is reciting the Talbiyah, and the meaning of ‘Thajj’ is slaughtering camels.
