Hadith 4214

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ النَّاسَ عَامَ حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، فَقَالَ: ((مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَبْدَأَ مِنْكُمْ بِعُمْرَةٍ قَبْلَ الْحَجِّ فَلْيَفْعَلْ))، وَأَفْرَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْحَجَّ وَلَمْ يَعْتَمِرْ
Narrated by Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed the people at the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage, saying: Whoever among you wishes to perform Umrah before Hajj, may do so. However, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Hajj Ifrad and did not perform Umrah.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam performed the Hajj as Mufrad (single Hajj without Umrah). Its explanation has already been given earlier. (See the benefits of Hadith 4182)
