Hadith 4190

Narrated by Sayyiduna Suraqah bin Malik bin Ju'sham (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Until the Day of Resurrection, 'Umrah has been included in Hajj. Also, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself combined both of them in one Ihram on the occasion of the Farewell Pilgrimage.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This hadith can have two meanings: (1) Performing ‘umrah during the months of Hajj is permissible, whereas before this, in the era of ignorance (jahiliyyah), this was considered a very grave sin. (2) Performing Hajj Qiran, in which the acts of ‘umrah are incorporated into the acts of Hajj, and one tawaf and one sa‘i suffice for both Hajj and ‘umrah.
