Hadith 4179

Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says: We set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) as three types of people: some people entered into ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together, some for Hajj Ifrad, and some entered into ihram for only Umrah. Those who entered into ihram for both Hajj and Umrah together did not become lawful (halal) from those things which Allah Almighty had made unlawful (haram) for them due to ihram until they completed the Hajj. And those who entered into ihram for only Umrah became lawful (halal) after performing the Tawaf of the House of Allah and the Sa’i between Safa and Marwah, by cutting their hair, and the things that were unlawful (haram) for them due to ihram became lawful (halal) for them until they again entered into ihram for Hajj.
