It is narrated from Sayyida Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: We set out for Hajj with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. When we reached Dhu’l-Hulayfah, he ﷺ said: “Whoever among you wishes to enter into the state of Ihram for Hajj, let him do so, and whoever among you wishes to enter into the state of Ihram for Umrah, let him do so.” Sayyida Asma (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I, Sayyida Aisha, Sayyiduna Miqdad, and Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them all) entered into the state of Ihram for Umrah.
