(وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ بِنَحْوِهِ وَفِيهِ: فَحِضْتُ قَبْلَ أَنْ أَدْخُلَ مَكَّةَ فَأَدْرَكَنِي يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ وَأَنَا حَائِضٌ فَشَكَوْتُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: ((دَعِي عُمْرَتَكِ، وَانْقُضِي رَأْسَكِ وَامْتَشِطِي وَاغْتَسِلِي وَأَهِلِّي بِالْحَجِّ))، فَفَعَلْتُ الْحَدِيثَ
(Second chain) A similar hadith is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), except that it states: I began menstruating upon entering Makkah, and it continued until the day of Arafah was about to come. I complained about this to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so he said: Leave the ‘Umrah, untie your hair and comb it, and after performing ghusl, enter into the state of ihram for Hajj.
