Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The mention of the spatial miqat (designated stations) for Hajj and ‘Umrah has been made in this chapter. The issue is absolutely clear: whoever resides within these miqat, will assume the ihram (sacral state) from his place of residence, and whoever lives outside these miqat, will cross them in the state of ihram. As for the issue of temporal miqat, then for ‘Umrah, ihram can be assumed at any time, but for Hajj, ihram will only be assumed during the months of Hajj.
