(Second chain) Up to this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the hadith is narrated in the same way: "If I had known earlier what I have come to know now, I would not have brought the sacrificial animal with me." After this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I had not brought the sacrificial animal with me, I too would have become halal now. Beware! Learn the rulings of Hajj." Upon hearing this, the people became halal. When the Day of Tarwiyah, that is, the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah, arrived and people began to proceed towards Mina, they recited the Talbiyah for Hajj. Sacrifice was obligatory upon those who had the means, and for those who did not have the means, fasting was prescribed. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) included seven people in the sacrifice of a cow and a camel, and for those performing Hajj Qiran, there was one Tawaf and one Sa’i for both Hajj and Umrah.
