(Second chain) Urwah bin Zubair says: I and Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) were sitting leaning against the chamber of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and we were hearing the sound of her using the miswak. I said: Mother! Have you not heard what Abu Abdur Rahman is saying? She said: What is he saying? I said: He is saying that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed Umrah in Rajab. She said: May Allah forgive Abu Abdur Rahman, he has forgotten; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not perform any Umrah in Rajab. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was listening to all this, but he neither said anything in denial nor in affirmation, rather he remained silent.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not perform any ‘umrah in the month of Rajab; he performed three ‘umrahs in Dhu al-Qa‘dah and one in Dhu al-Hijjah. According to another narration, the silence of Sayyiduna Ibn ‘Umar radi Allahu anhu indicates that this matter had become unclear to him, or he had forgotten, or he had some doubt.
