Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) set out with the intention of performing Umrah, but the disbelievers of Quraysh came between him (peace and blessings be upon him) and the House of Allah, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) sacrificed the animal for Hady at the place of Hudaybiyyah and shaved his head. And there was an agreement with them that the Muslims would be able to come for Umrah the following year, and none of them would be armed, except that they would have only swords with them, and they would stay only as long as the disbelievers wished. Thus, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came the following year and performed Umrah. According to the agreement, he (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, and when he (peace and blessings be upon him) had stayed for three days, they said that now he (peace and blessings be upon him) should leave, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) departed.
