Hadith 4084

(Second chain) Sayyida Umm Ma'qil Asadiya (may Allah be pleased with her) said: O Messenger of Allah! I wish to perform Hajj, but my camel is weak. Now what do you command me to do? You (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Perform Umrah in the month of Ramadan, for performing Umrah in the month of Ramadan is equal to Hajj.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … For the journey of Hajj and ‘Umrah, having a means of transport cannot be made an absolute condition; rather, it should be said that whoever, due to illness or distance, is unable to walk and also does not possess a means of transport, then Hajj will not be obligatory upon him.
