Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Was the questioner a man or a woman, and was the question asked about the father, or the mother, or about both? In this regard, various narrations exist. Hafiz Ibn Hajar has provided the following answer to this situation: By gathering all the chains (turuq), what becomes clear to me is that the questioner was a man, but along with him was his daughter, and she too asked a question, and in that gathering, questions were asked regarding both the father and the mother.
